I have read so many critics criticizing this film that I felt the need to defend it. I just watched it an hour ago and for me it gave me what I was hoping for: after a tiring working day, walking around in the rain, and no time for lunch, I stayed for dinner, and between Morgans and Mandela (Invictus) I went and bought a ticket for that romantic comedy. I don't understand how people can be so demanding about this genre. Everyone knows how a romantic comedy ends. It's not the story that counts and although I find Grant and Parker's pairing impossible, they made me laugh and that's just what I needed. "It's so quiet in here I can hear my cells dividing". For him and a little more it was a pleasant experience, although not as happy as Disneyland.
