Chad Stahelski, the stuntman-turned-essayer/head, struck gold with his 2014 shock hit John Wick. It gave the action genre a new lease on life and marked a comeback for the legendary Keanu Reeves. It has since turned into The Activity Juggernaut establishment. Now that we're at No. 4, this movie soars to new heights in an absolute epic thrill and adventure where things usually get rehashed as with many sequels.

One of the most surprising parts of this specific passage is that the story is being crafted as well as it's worth. Something that is sometimes hard to come by in style. While that's not to say that there weren't others in the franchise, this is undoubtedly the best story, delving deeply into John Wick's true feelings and aspects of the high table. The rich character development is also at its best, with excellent additions like Skarsgård to complement the brilliant Reeves, and even more screen time for great supporting actors like Fishburne. Godspeed, Lance Reddick. It's great to have this kind of substance amid infinite high-power ballistic visions.

Speaking of ballistics, this movie goes out more than I've seen for insanely composed shootouts and battle scenes. Stahelski and Reeves show that their action and mind is always changing, just when you thought you've seen it all. These people were destined to make action films together.
